June Caldwell is a native of Emporium, returning 6 years ago to open up Emporium Pharmacy. She and her husband Joel Caldwell have been owners of Emporium Pharmacy since 2005.

Our Low Price Promise

Times are tough these days and everyone is looking for ways to save. That is why at Emporium Pharmacy we'll meet or beat the competition on prescription prices. If you pay for your own prescriptions and find a lower price from a pharmacy within thirty miles of ours, we'll match it or better. All you need to do is one of the following:

  • Provide us a recent prescription receipt of a medication you received within the last 90 days.
  • Present a signed and dated quote from another pharmacy indicating the drug's quantity and strength you are taking.
  • Present a recently published price (within 90 days) of the medication you are taking from any pharmacy within 30 miles.

It's just that simple; no forms to fill out, no annual dues, no membership cards. Pennsylvania law does not permit pharmacies to sell prescriptions below cost. However, chances are good Emporium Pharmacy will have what you want, at the low price you want, all with great service seven days a week and right here in Emporium.

Now why would you want to patronize Emporium Pharmacy if we're only going to match the price on a prescription? A number of pharmacies have lists of their low cost generics. It is what you might call their "loss leaders". In some states they will actually sell prescriptions below cost so that they may get your other business. In Pennsylvania that is illegal. But what about their prices of more expensive generic and brand name drugs? You may be surprised that many of our prices on these drugs are well below the competition's non-advertised prices. How do we know? Our new customers tell us!
